Components included long term NRW reduction plan, NRW reduction demonstration in 3 pilot areas, training of PWD staff in NRW reduction and leak detection methods.

STC provided comprehensive services for undertaking NRW / water audit and leak detection for Nagpur city. Components included consumer survey for 10000 consumers, 1.95 Lac connections spread over 217 sq.kms and covering a population of 2.6 million.

STC (as a Sub-Consultant) provided complete project management services for improvement of water distribution system (in 100 out of 144 wards) of Kolkata and comprehensive & detailed study in ward 63. Components included UWF / Flow and pressure / metering / leak detection / rehabilitation works / GIS and mapping / SCADA / Isolation of DMA / condition assessment using CCTV & GPR methods

STC (as a Consortium Partner) provided complete project management services for distribution system improvement through performance based service contract for NDMC areas. Components included 33000 house connections GIS, mapping, NRW studies and appointment of operator for the service contract.

Reduction of UFW in Chennai City (Phase III, IV, V) [World Bank]
STC provided complete project management services to reduce UFW to 15 litres / connection / hour in several areas of Chennai City. Components included 71300 house connections, 246 kms of mains, 359 kms of communication pipes and 216 valves. Scope also included training of PMU staff in leak detection equipment use.
Highlight: For the first time in the city MDPE pipes and fittings were introduced and so were systematic method of installing ferrules.
